The Emerson String Quartet announce feature length documentary, LATE STYLE: THE FINAL NOTES OF THE EMERSON QUARTET
After over 40 years together, the Emerson String Quartet will disband in the Fall of 2023 and play in concert halls across the US and Europe for the very last time. As this chapter closes, they are excited to announce that production work has started on a feature-length documentary offering an intimate glance into their unforgettable performances, Grammy Award praises, behind-the-scenes of their Farewell Tour, and their decades-long friendship. The film is written and directed by Tristan Cook, produced by Birgit Gernbōck, and in collaboration with Unison Media, and currently is scheduled to celebrate its world premiere in 2024.
